Age and Health Guarantee

• We do not sell cats or kittens for breeding unless it is a unique situation.
• Adult cats and older kittens available occasionally.
• We do accept verbal kitten reservations once kittens are born.

• Contact us if you would like a kitten from a specific litter.

• Litters will be announced on our website under Plans.

Policies

 

• If for any reason you cannot keep your cat or kitten at any age, you must return it to Colorado Maine Coons, at your expense.  

​

• Our kittens are ready to go to their new homes at 12-14 weeks of age. Kittens include a health check by Dr. Kim Anderson DVM and will be vaccinated, micro-chipped, dewormed and will be well socialized and ready for their new homes.

​

•   Genetic Conditions - Parents will be tested for HCM, PKD, PKDef, FIV, FeLV, SMA and blood group.

​

Yearly Echocardiograms are performed on adult cats by  Dr. Carrie Ginieczki DVM, MS, DACVIM - Colorado Heart Vet.

​

PennHips (Hip Dysplasia Testing) are performed by Dr. Milan Hess DVM, MS, CCRT/ Dr. Betsy Coffman DVM, MS - CVSG Reproductive Specialists.

Our kittens come with a 2 year health guarantee that covers tested genetic illnesses and diseases. Each kitten will have one month free of Trupanion insurance.

​

• All kittens must be spayed or neutered by six  to eight months of age. TICA pedigree slip will be provided with the proof of spay or neuter.

​

• A kitten basket with Life's abundance dry and wet food of fussie cat and Nulo as well as toys and Maine Coon book will accompany each kitten. Each kitten will go home with his/her own carrier.

Shipping

Delivery fee will vary depending on distance - white glove delivery by a courier. 

 
Visits

Home visits are welcome and we will happily send pictures of your reserved kitten regularly.
